Activities
Children’s Rendez-Vous is designed to provide students with help in all areas of study. In addition, we want to provide activities that appeal to the students. If there is a need in an area we are not staffed in, we will make every effort to add to our staff to cover those areas of study and activities. Depending on the number of students interested, this may require an extra fee.
Parents are always welcome to participate in any activity and/or lunch/snack with their children.

Languages:
French, Japanese and Spanish can be offered to students. The classes are organized in workshops where the students are familiarized with the culture. Vocabulary and grammar skills are integrated into these workshops in support of understanding the cultures. If there is a need for help in other languages we will do our best to provide it.
Music:
The goal of this course is to build a solid, elementary level background in music for the students. The students are exposed to many different forms and styles of music, representing a range of different cultures. Students will also engage in creating music themselves through vocal exercises, clapping and patting, as well as the use of actual musical instruments.
Art and Crafts:
Painting, drawing, cutting, beadwork, gluing and other activities are taught on an age appropriate basis. Students also learn how to use household items to create art objects and about the interaction of color, texture, and form.
Science:
Through a process of discovery students gain an intimate knowledge of the scientific method with a variety of projects in biology, ecology, and physics. In addition, students are given help on finding and developing science fair projects.
Karate:
Students learn concentration, physical fitness, self-control, self-defense, self-awareness, breathing and meditation, sparring, promotions and kata's, with an experience instructor.
